Jason Green is an entrepreneur, lawyer, and political strategist that has spent his career empowering individuals and communities. Recently, he cofounded and serves as vice president for business development and general counsel of SkillSmart, a software company enabling job seekers to reach their employment potential.
Green is also directing a documentary exploring the historic community of Quince Orchard, Maryland, and whether it is a transferable model of how diverse communities can and must come together to preserve history and shape the future.
Prior to these endeavors, Green served in a number of state and local political positions. Most recently, Green served for four years as Associate Counsel to President Obama, where he advised on legal, economic and domestic policy matters. Prior to joining the White House, Green served as the National Voter Registration Director for the Obama for America 2008 campaign.
Green, a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and Yale Law School, co-chairs a regional task force addressing cybersecurity employment, sits on a number of local boards and committees, and is a Fellow at Docs In Progress.
