Grace Phillips Ogilby
As 1776’s research analyst, Grace digs deep into 1776’s proprietary data sets and pairs them with insights from the 1776 community of startups, investors, mentors, experts, policymakers and institutions. Grace also runs 1776’s Open Innovation Network, a program dedicated to teaching the best of 1776’s startup curriculum to 1776’s partners. Before joining 1776, Grace handled telecommunications and technology policy as a staffer for Senator Edward J. Markey from her home state of Massachusetts. Grace is a Thomas J. Watson Fellow and spent a year studying the intersection of technology and women’s political movements on four continents. Grace holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Carleton College.
