About this Event

Now more than ever, there is a significant opportunity for startup companies to develop new and emerging technologies for cities of all sizes. Startups can offer a suite of technologies and solutions from public health, energy, safety, transportation, data management, and more.

This workshop will provide an overview of smart cities, how startups can provide value as local governments pursue new technological solutions to old problems, and explore the new opportunities that smart cities offer to startups. It will also highlight the barriers that exist to smart city technologies.
