With a strong focus on innovation through co-working, mentorship and hosting key D.C. events, the 1776 campus provides members access to the political, intellectual, social, and financial capital that make Washington, D.C. unique. Partnering with American Airlines will allow 1776 members to scale their businesses in markets across the United States. American Airlines will not only bring resources to 1776 members to increase their mobility, but the technical innovation created by D.C. startups will help foster innovation internally at American through technology sharing.
American Airlines’ goal is to empower entrepreneurs by providing resources and support to help them prosper through a series of efforts they call their “Innovator Initiatives.” These initiatives recognize the importance of meeting that next big customer to the startup community as well as the importance of fostering connections through other media channels.
