The Challenge Cup Lagos is an opportunity for world-class Nigerian start-ups to compete on the global stage for access to intellectual, social and  financial capital.

The best startups will have the opportunity to compete in the Challenge Cup Regionals on February 18th, 2016 in  Nairobi, Kenya.

Challenge Cup Regional winners will represent the best of Africa’s talent at the Challenge Cup Global scheduled for June 5th-11th, 2016 in Washington DC.

Generation Enterprise is a venture development NGO committed to incubating, training, financing, and scaling viable and sustainable youth-run MSMEs with the long-term goal of fostering youth entrepreneurship and employment opportunities and formulating creative pathways out of poverty especially for BOP youth.

Since 2011, GEN has worked in Nigeria and India, partnered with public and private partners, including the World Bank, Google, McKinsey, and local governments, including Lagos State and Osun State. We have trained over 300 youth and incubated 25+ businesses that have created 50+ jobs, resulting in average income increases of 12x for previously unemployed youth.
